Bay Area Host Committee
The Bay Area Host Committee (BAHC) is the region’s first long-term sports entity, dedicated to uniting the Bay Area through sport by building pride, connecting communities, and reenergizing the region. As a nonprofit, BAHC partners with local teams, civic leaders, and businesses to bring world-class sporting events to the Bay Area—driving lasting economic, cultural, and social impact. BAHC is proud to have Boston Consulting Group (BCG), EA SPORTS, Kaiser Permanente, and other visionary organizations as founding partners, supporting its mission to bring communities together and create lasting legacies through world-class events and sports. For more information, visit www.bayareahostcommittee.com or email us at [email protected].
Tipping Point Community
Tipping Point Community is the Bay Area’s leading philanthropic organization focused on fighting poverty. Since 2005, we’ve raised and invested more than $474 million in organizations that tackle the root causes of poverty and help people build lasting stability. Last year alone, our grantees helped nearly 91,000 Bay Area residents get support in housing, early childhood, education, and employment. Our Board covers all overhead costs, so 100% of every donation goes directly to the work. Learn more at tippingpoint.org.
Chris Stapleton
Kentucky-born Chris Stapleton is an 11x Grammy, 19x CMA and 21x ACM Award-winner and one of the country’s most respected and beloved musicians. In the midst of yet another triumphant year, Stapleton is nominated for three awards at the 59th Annual CMA Awards (Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Music Video of the Year for “Think I’m In Love With You”) and recently released two singles – the “dreamy,” “disco groove” duet with Miranda Lambert, “A Song To Sing,” as well as “Bad As I Used To Be” from the blockbuster movie soundtrack, F1 the Album. The new singles follow the release of his acclaimed fifth studio album, Higher, featuring break-out singles, “White Horse” and “I Think I’m In Love With You.” Produced by Dave Cobb, Morgane Stapleton and Chris Stapleton, the record landed on several “Best of” lists including Billboard, Esquire, Los Angeles Times, Vulture and Rolling Stone, who praises, “dazzling…the best evidence yet for the way one man’s voice has become synonymous with the very idea of a musical genre.” Universally beloved as a collaborator, Stapleton has worked with Adele, Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Ed Sheeran, Justin Timberlake, P!nk, Sheryl Crow, Santana, Post Malone, Dua Lipa, Slash and George Strait. Last year, he returned to NBC’s “Saturday Night Live” for the third time as musical guest and performed the National Anthem at 2023’s Super Bowl LVII. Known for his electric live performances, Stapleton will continue his extensive “All-American Road Show” through next year. Stapleton and his wife, Morgane, are founders of the Outlaw State of Kind charitable fund, which supports a variety of causes that are close to their hearts.
Sierra Ferrell
One of the brightest young luminaries in roots music today, Ferrell brings a dose of beautifully strange magic to everything she touches. Since the arrival of Long Time Coming (her acclaimed debut LP for Rounder Records), the West Virginia-born singer/songwriter/multi-instrumentalist has earned the Emerging Act of the Year prize at the Americana Honors & Awards, collaborated with the likes of Margo Price, the Black Keys, Shakey Graves, Zach Bryan, Diplo, and Old Crow Medicine Show, and enchanted audiences all over North America and Europe with her high-spirited and dazzling live performance. On her new album Trail Of Flowers, the Nashville-based artist expands her sound while deepening the urgency of her songs, often revealing a wealth of wisdom within her wildly imaginative storytelling.
